Exhibition Photos 2008

This year we held demonstrations of faceting, wire wrapping, cabochon making (on request) and beading. These were very successful with a lot of people enquiring about technique who were keen to join our club and learn more. The stalls of gemstones, rough material and beads complimented the demonstrations and vice versa, and the refreshments made the two day exhibition a delight to attend. Members of other clubs travelled to catch up with their friends and there was a good atmosphere at this year's exhibition. Thank you to all whose hard work make this event possible.

Each year, the Essendon Gem & Lapidary Club holds an Annual Exhibition with member displays, demonstrations, lapidary sales and refreshments. It's a good opportunity to buy affordable lapidary supplies, learn about the club's crafts and how they are done and to talk to members of the club about their hobby.

Everyone is welcome at the Annual Exhibition, both members and the general public. Entry is usually very cheap (around $3 per person) and children can attend with parents. The Annual Exhibition is held in May each year.
