Exhibition Photos 2009
A well attended exhibition, we were pleased to see all our favourite members in attendance. Nice displays and a new "vote for your favourite display case" competition. Traders filled their tables with some new things, including some eyecatching items like Phil's opal set in silver rings (and his other jewellery) and new beaded inspirations from Silhouette Design. Thank you Vince, for finding those lovely mini jewellery cases! It also wouldn't have been the same without our smiling kitchen attendees and happy doorman. I must say, our exhibitions seem to improve year upon year!
Each year, the Essendon Gem & Lapidary Club holds an Annual Exhibition with member displays, demonstrations, lapidary sales and refreshments. It's a good opportunity to buy affordable lapidary supplies, learn about the club's crafts and how they are done and to talk to members of the club about their hobby.
Everyone is welcome at the Annual Exhibition, both members and the general public. Entry is usually very cheap (around $3 per person) and children can attend with parents. The Annual Exhibition is held in May each year.
