Meeting Times

The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month (excluding January) at 7.30pm at our Clubrooms in Cross Keys Reserve, Bridge Street, Essendon. Members are regularly expected to attend Club meetings as we need assistance from all members to run a successful club. Keep up to date with what's going on by watching the Club notice board and listening for announcements at meetings.

Members are reminded that the opportunity now exists for selling or swapping lapidary material or machinery at each Club meeting. Sensible quantities and reasonable prices please!

Workshop Times

GENERAL WORKSHOP
Tuesdays and Thursdays 7.00pm and 9.00pm (other than meeting nights)
Saturdays 12.00pm to 4.00pm

GLASS WORK ONLY
Glass Work ONLY Mondays 7.00pm to 9.00pm

The cost to attend each workshop is $3 per person. Some members like to bring a plate of food to share occasionally.

Saturday Workshops

Sessions will be held on the Saturday following the meeting each month (the second Saturday of the month) 1.00pm to 4.00pm and cost for members will be $3. There will also be a babysitter available who will provide activities for children.

NOTE: It is compulsory to wear safety glasses at all workshops. These may be purchased from the club, from Bunnings or from Super Cheap Auto. Safety glasses should cover the sides of the eyes. Earplugs are required for cabochon work - purchase these from Bunnings or a hardware store. Orange fluoro vests are needed if you intend to participate in field trips - these can be purchased through Gavin at the club, at Bunnings or at $2 shops.
